Welcome to the Moving to Denver Podcast.  This is season 2 episode 3 and today’s episode is me waffling on about some great areas to live if you enjoy the walkability factor.

Is Denver Walkable?

It totally depends where you live in Denver. If you are moving to Denver and looking for walkable areas there are some out there.

Denver Walkability

If you want to live close to the downtown area and you can afford to pay for convenience then some of the following areas may be worth looking into.

  • Highland
  • LoHi
  • LoDo
  • Capital Hill
  • Five Points
  • Park Hill

If you are working in another major hub around the Denver area and you don’t need to live so close to downtown Denver but you would like to live in an area that you can easily get to restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment options, parks then you may want to consider some of the following. For many of these you will want to live withing a mile or so of the actual downtown area.  Listen to the podcast below for more details

  • DTC area

West

  • Golden
  • Belmar (Lakewood)
  • Boulder
  • Arvada

North

  • Bradburn (Westminster)
  • Louisville
  • Lafayette
