I know I put this out early but I have seen moms asking in mid-October and I like to deliver.  Here are some of the best Christmas Events in the Denver area in 2018!

Holiday Tea at the Brown Palace – Now – December – If you enjoy high tea, the brown palace is a wonderful place to go during the holiday season.   BOOKED OUT ALREADY PUT ON YOUR CALENDAR FOR NEXT YEAR

Polar Express Train – November 10 – December 23 – Denver Railroad Museum – Dress the kids in their pj’s and hop on board the polar express for an unforgettable experience. You better grab your tickets fast, they don’t last long.  SOLD OUT, PUT ON CALENDAR FOR NEXT YEAR

Santa’s North Pole Adventure – November 17 – January 3, Take a ride with Santa at the Georgetown Loop Rail Way.

Denver Christkindl Market – November 16  – December 23 Traditional German Christmas market. Skyline Park, 16th Street Mall.

Winterfest Wednesday – November 21 – Holiday Kick off at The Orchards, Westminster.

Downtown Denver Grand Illumination – November 23, 2018 – 6pm – Larimer Square, Denver Pavilions, Denver union station, skyline park, 16th street mall and D&F Tower all light up their Holiday lights.

Blossoms of Light – November 23 – January 1 – Denver Botanic Gardens – New elements this year including the return of the O’Fallon Perennial Walk and the Romantic Gardens.

Denver Zoo Lights – November 30 – December 31 – Denver Zoo Lights is fun for the family, the zoo lights up with all kinds of exciting lights that the kids will love. Grab some hot chocolate and take a stroll through the lights at Denver Zoo.

9 News Parade of Lights – November 30– 8 pm and December 1st  6 pm – Downtown Denver comes alive with Holiday floats, lights, music, and fun.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony – December 1,  5: 30 pm – 8:30 pm at Westminster City Hall. Holiday Lighting, cookies, hot chocolate and Santa.

Lights of December Parade – December 1, 6 pm – 7 pm, Downtown Boulder.

Festival of Lights – December 1, 6 – 8 pm.  Crist Park Frederick.  All the trees in Crist Park will be lit up, free horse-drawn carriages, selfies with Santa, ice carving competition and carolers.

Carbon Valley Holiday Festival – December 1, 2018 – 11 am – 8 pm – Firestone, Dacono, and Frederick.

Santa Breakfast – December 1 at 9 am. Have breakfast with Santa at the Apex Community Rec Center in Arvada. $5 per person age 3+.

Olde Golden Christmas – November 30 – December 31

unity Candlelight walk, Pictures with Santa, Victorian carolers, free horse-drawn carriage rides.  Holiday parades every Saturday.

Country Christmas and Parade of Lights Erie – December 7 – 5 pm – 8 pm, Historic Downtown Erie.

Noel Northglenn – December 7 – 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Carolers, smores, carriage rides and more.

Breakfast with Santa – Dec 8-9, 15-16, 21-22 – Have breakfast with Santa at the Denver Aquarium.

Thornton Winterfest – Friday, December 7 – Sunday, December 9 at Carpenter Park Fields. Get lost in a winter wonderland, enjoy vendors, visits with Santa, ice skating and much more.

22nd Annual Festival of Lights Parade and Tree lighting – Saturday, December 8. Brighton, CO. The fun starts at 10 am and the parade will head through town at 5 pm.

Weekend Holiday Celebration – Downtown Longmont – December 7&8. Enjoy the illuminated holiday parade at 5 pm on Saturday, Dec 8. There will also be carolers, fireworks, performers and bonfires throughout the two days.

Annual Georgetown Christmas Market – December 1,2 and 8,9 – Downtown Georgetown – Outdoor European marketplace, free entertainment and appearances by St Nicholas

Barr Lake Holiday Trail – December 15 – 6 pm – 9 pm.  Join the rangers for a short stroll to see the bridge and trail lit up. Hot chocolate, face painting, kids crafts, and Santa!
